Afrikana Kitchen is launching BAD BIRD, a new fried chicken brand. As Front of House Team Member you will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with the correct order.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen to keep services smooth and help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere from day one. Responsibilities include guiding guests through the menu, preparing drinks, handling takeaway orders, and maintaining cleanliness.

What's the role?

As a Front of House Team Member, you'll be the face of BAD BIRD. You'll welcome guests, take orders and make sure every customer leaves with a smile (and the right order!). You'll work closely with the kitchen to keep everything moving during busy services and help create an atmosphere people actually want to come back to.

What will I do?

• Welcome every guest with a genuine smile and friendly attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and confidently.
• Help guests choose meals, sides and drinks from the menu.
• Prepare drinks and package takeaway and delivery orders.
• Check every order before it leaves the counter.
• Keep service quick without compromising quality.
• Work with the kitchen team to make sure food is served fresh and on time.
• Keep the restaurant clean, organised and ready for service throughout the day.
• Refill sauces, drinks, packaging and front counter supplies.
• Handle customer questions and resolve simple issues professionally.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, health & safety and company procedures at all times.
• Support your teammates wherever needed to keep the shift running smoothly.
• Bring positive energy to every shift and help create a great atmosphere for both guests and the team.
