Front of House Team Leader
North Staffs Hospital | Front of House | Full Time
Salary up to £25,761.45 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Reception Team Leader at our North Staffs Hospital, you will have full responsibility for the Reception area and you'll promote a friendly, relaxing, and professional environment.

You will also have great communication, IT, and keyboard skills. You're able to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably. Ideally, you have experience working in healthcare administration or on reception.

As a Reception Team Leader, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate all training for the reception team to ensure standards, rules, and regulations are followed and maintained.
  • Supervise all reception activities, including information dissemination, check-ins, and bookings.
  • Coordinate and manage a team of Receptionists to ensure high standards of service to patients.
  • Manage reception procedures to ensure all fees, including guest fees, are collected.
  • Maintain brand standards.
  • Promote effective communication throughout the hospital.
  • Assist colleagues and other departments proactively.
  • Provide friendly, efficient reception service, involving customer contact and advice.
  • Lead the reception Front of House team to deliver professional standards.
  • Admit patients and handle appointment bookings and amendments.
  • Operate a complex switchboard according to procedures.
  • Ensure reception work meets standards and deadlines.
  • Manage, interpret, and analyze data and information.
  • Handle inquiries and queries efficiently, escalating when necessary.
  • Accurately enter, modify, maintain, and present data using appropriate systems.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required.
