Front of House Team Leader
North Staffs Hospital | Front of House | Full Time |
Salary up to £25,761.45 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Reception Team Leader at our North Staffs Hospital, you will have full responsibility for the Reception area and you'll promote a friendly, relaxing, and professional environment.

Ideal candidates will have great communication, IT, and keyboard skills, and be able to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably. Experience in healthcare administration or reception is preferred.

As a Reception Team Leader, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate all training for the reception team to ensure standards, rules, and regulations are followed.
  • Supervise all reception activities, including information dissemination, check-ins, and bookings.
  • Coordinate and manage the reception team to ensure high standards of service to patients.
  • Manage reception procedures to ensure fees, including guest fees, are collected.
  • Maintain brand standards.
  • Promote effective communication throughout the hospital.
  • Assist colleagues and other departments proactively.
  • Provide friendly, efficient reception services, including customer contact and advice.
  • Lead the reception front of house team to meet professional standards.
  • Admit patients and handle appointment bookings and amendments.
  • Operate a complex switchboard according to procedures.
  • Ensure reception work meets standards and deadlines.
  • Handle data and information accurately and efficiently using appropriate systems.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required.
