Job summary

Portello Lounge is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead the floor, coach the team and ensure excellent service across shifts. You’ll support opening and closing tasks, keep standards high, and help manage the bar and pass while delivering a welcoming guest experience from the first hello to the final goodbye.

With hourly pay up to 13.30/hr plus tips, staff meals, and generous discounts, this role offers real career growth within our hospitality brand across England and Wales.

• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor


• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service


• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes


• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one


• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to

What We're Looking For

• Someone who leads by example on the floor and sets the pace for the team around them

• Comfortable taking ownership of a shift - delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently


• Experience in restaurants, bars, caf s or coffee shops - whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front of house team member ready for their next step
  As Supervisor you'll be a key part of the team at Portello Lounge; supporting your managers, leading your colleagues through each shift, and helping make sure every customer leaves happy.
