Verdo Lounge in England is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead the team on shift, ensuring service runs smoothly and guests feel welcome.

You will coach and motivate staff, manage the bar and pass, handle customer queries confidently, and uphold cleanliness and food safety standards. This role offers an hourly rate with tips, flexible hours, and opportunities to progress within our growing hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality teams on the floor and guiding the service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly, welcoming approach.
• Experience in bars, restaurants or cafés preferred; supervisory or team-leader background.

Responsibilities

• Support management with day-to-day operation, opening/closing tasks and floor upkeep.

• Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly
• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor
• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service
• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes
• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one
• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to

• Someone who leads by example on the floor and sets the pace for the team around them
• A natural host who helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Verdo Lounge feel like a home from home
• Community-minded - you get to know your regulars, your neighbours, and what makes Stroud tick
• Comfortable taking ownership of a shift - delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently
• Experience in restaurants, bars, caf s or coffee shops - whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front of house team member ready for their next step

As Supervisor you'll be a key part of the team at Verdo Lounge; supporting your managers, leading your colleagues through each shift, and helping make sure every customer leaves happy.
