Job summary

Valero Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Front of House Supervisor. This role leads shifts, supports managers and maintains high service standards in a busy hospitality setting.

You’ll oversee daily operations, coach colleagues, and ensure customers enjoy a warm, welcoming experience during every visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops.
• Experience in supervisory roles (Supervisor, Team Leader) or front-of-house leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front during busy shifts to deliver great service.
• Support management with day-to-day lounge operations, opening/closing tasks.
• Coach and motivate the team, assign roles and ensure confident service.
• Monitor cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling.
• Handle customer queries or complaints professionally to turn visits into great experiences.
• Assist in driving sales by managing the bar and pass and creating a welcomed lounge environment.

We're hiring a Front of House Supervisor to be part of the team at Valero Lounge a local café bar. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. What You’ll Do

• Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly
• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor
• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service
• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes
• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one
• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to

• Comfortable taking ownership of a shift — delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently
• Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops — whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front of house team member ready for their next step
