Job Title

Front of House Receptionist - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary

£26,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience

Location

Bristol - This role is office-based Monday – Friday

Working Pattern

9am to 5.30pm with the ability to be flexible

Role Overview

We have a great opportunity to join our busy Workplace Team. The role involves providing front of house services within a fast-paced office environment, ensuring a professional and effective customer service experience. You will support the local office, group leaders, project and business managers, visitors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations of our front of house and meeting room facilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining a professional front of house reception service
  2. Meeting and greeting visitors
  3. Issuing and managing visitor passes
  4. Answering calls and being the first point of contact for the business
  5. Arranging taxis for staff and visitors
  6. Managing meeting room bookings and standards
  7. Catering bookings and service
  8. Managing incoming/outgoing post and couriers
  9. Supporting general administrative tasks related to workplace operations
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience working on a reception desk in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with a desire to meet new people
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business practices
  • Excellent IT skills and competence in working efficiently on PCs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative, with attention to detail
  • Effective prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good team player
