Job summary

Super 8 is seeking an experienced Maître D to lead guest experiences at Impala in London. You will bring a warm, engaging presence, manage the door, reservations, and guest inquiries, and partner with management to enhance service and drive covers.

Experience in a busy restaurant, strong communication, and leadership are essential. This role offers opportunities for travel to suppliers and ongoing staff development within the Super 8 portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy, high-energy restaurant setting.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms (SevenRooms preferred).
• Clear, confident communication and guest handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming guest experience and manage the door.
• Oversee reservations, guest inquiries and respond promptly within the restaurant’s tone.
• Collaborate with site management and Head of Marketing to drive covers and partnerships.
• Utilise SevenRooms to manage bookings, optimise floor plans and coordinate with kitchen and floor teams.
• Develop guest profiles for consistency across Super 8 sites.
• Train team on service steps for door and welcome, maintaining hospitality standards.
