Job summary

Praxis Group seeks a proactive Front of House Host for its building at 5 Brindley Place, Birmingham. You will greet tenants, visitors and contractors, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment and professional customer care.

In this largely stand-alone role, you will manage front-of-house operations, support security and compliance, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will report to the National Building Standards Manager in London.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and professional presentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage own time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT literacy with basic reception tools.
• Experience in business space/office environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming front-of-house service and maintain a clean, presentable reception.
• Answer calls and greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
• Support security, safety, and building compliance procedures.
• Coordinate with management for daily checks and incident reporting.
• Record deliveries/visitors and maintain access control.
• Assist with events and hospitality activities as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and build positive tenant relationships.
