Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Front of House Assistant in Tilbury to welcome guests and deliver exceptional service. You will work with colleagues to maintain high standards of professionalism in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Two positions are available with varied hours: 8.30am–4pm, five days out of seven, or 8.30am–4pm, two days plus weekends. Join a busy team focused on guest experiences and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner while ensuring all requests are promptly addressed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by remaining attentive to guests' needs throughout their visit and responding to questions and concerns with empathy and positivity.
• Collaborate with kitchen and back‑of‑house teams to support seamless operations and contribute to a safe, inclusive working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and service stations in line with health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a solution‑oriented approach when addressing challenges or unexpected situations.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized and detail‑oriented during peak service periods.
