Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Front of House General Assistant for night shifts in Tilbury. This full-time temporary role pays £13.18 per hour. You will welcome guests, serve food and drinks, and work with kitchen and service teams to deliver excellent hospitality.

Shifts run 20:30–04:30 with 5 days out of 7 (or 2 days of 7 on weekends). We're looking for friendly, customer-focused individuals who can maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety while adapting to fast-paced

Position 1 - Hours - 2030 - 4.30am - 5 days out of 7

Position 2 Hours - 2030 - 4.30am - 2 days of 7 (weekends)

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner while ensuring all requests are promptly addressed
• Provide outstanding customer service by remaining attentive to guests' needs throughout their visit and responding to questions and concerns with empathy and positivity
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and back-of-house teams to support seamless operations and contribute to a safe, inclusive working environment
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and service stations in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Demonstrate adaptability and a solution-oriented approach when addressing challenges or unexpected situations
• Communicate clearly with team members and management to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized and detail-oriented, even during peak service periods
• Comply with all food service guidelines, health and safety regulations, and organizational policie
