Job summary

Maki & Ramen is launching a new Front of House site in the United Kingdom and seeks an experienced, adaptable team member to lead the launch. The role offers a friendly, fast-paced environment with a focus on warm, attentive service and memorable guest experiences.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, take orders, serve meals, and handle payments, with 30–40 hours per week and negotiable scheduling. Perks include discounted or free food and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred (1 year).
• Front of House duties familiarity.
• Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Good communication and a friendly demeanour.
• Basic math and POS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly.

• Take orders and relay to kitchen/bar.

Pay Rate: £11.00 - £12.71 (typical earnings up to £14 p/h with tips)

Hours/Schedule: 30-40 per week (hours are negotiable)

Key responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Take orders accurately and relay them to kitchen/bar
• Serve food and beverages promptly
• Handle payments and process transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining area
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and courteously
