Job summary

Maki & Ramen in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to support front-of-house management and deliver high hospitality standards in a fast-paced restaurant.

You will lead the team during service, ensure smooth operations, coordinate with the kitchen, train staff, and maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role offers 40–45 hours per week with a pay rate of £13–£13.50 per hour, rising to around £16 per hour with tips.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day running of front-of-house service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and guide the team during service to maintain high hospitality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback or concerns professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow.
• Help monitor stock levels, team performance, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and food hygiene standards.
