Job summary

Maki & Ramen in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to support front-of-house operations and lead a busy team in a vibrant dining environment.

This role offers 40–45 hours per week, negotiable shifts, a competitive hourly rate (£13–£16 with tips), and the chance to play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will train staff, coordinate with the kitchen, ensure standards, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory front-of-house within hospitality.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of front-of-house service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and guide the team during service to maintain high hospitality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow.
• Help monitor stock levels, team performance, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and food hygiene standards.
