Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a warm welcome and excellent service in a busy leisure centre environment.

We offer 24 hours per week on a rota basis, with training provided and opportunities to progress. Benefits include a pension, cycle-to-work schemes, staff memberships, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Comfortable handling cash and using till systems.
• Able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Interest in leisure or community services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all visitors with a smile in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle enquiries, bookings and memberships face‑to‑face, online and by phone.
• Accurately operate booking, till and membership systems.
• Provide up-to-date information on centre facilities, classes and promotions.
• Maintain a tidy, inviting reception area and ensure high standards of presentation.
