Merlin is seeking a Fright Nights Wardrobe Host for Thorpe Park in Chertsey. The role supports the Wardrobe Manager in Welcome and Uniform Services, welcoming staff and guests, issuing uniforms and managing sign-in procedures.

It offers flexible full-time hours, with a seasonal contract and opportunities across Merlin attractions. The team focuses on high service standards, stock control, and collaboration with Marketing, HR and Guest Excellence to enhance employee engagement and guest

Fright Nights Wardrobe Host

Location: Thorpe Park, Chertsey, KT16 8PN

Hours: Full time, fully flexible, 3 days out of 7 (including weekend), minimum 10 hours per week

Contract Type: Seasonal

Here at the UK's Most Thrilling Theme Park, we're gearing up to celebrate 25 Years of Fear, as Fright Nights returns! We are recruiting for a Fright Nights Wardrobe Host to join our team.

In this role you will be supporting the Wardrobe Manager in the smooth running of the Welcome and Uniform Services Department to ensure all staff and guest welcome areas are well managed whilst providing a warm and professional first point of contact for business visitors and VIP guests.

You will ensure uniform standards and site security procedures are consistently followed whilst delivering outstanding customer service to both staff and guests, while developing a strong understanding of the park and its operations in order to confidently assist with queries and provide accurate information.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing reception and site access, ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors follow the correct sign-in and identification processes.
• Providing administrative support to the Uniform Services team, maintaining accurate records and completing tasks within deadlines.
• Issuing uniforms, staff ID cards and welcome packs to new starters, contractors and visitors.
• Supporting stock control, ordering and distribution of uniforms and welcome-related items.Assisting guests with enquiries, ticketing queries, complaints and upselling opportunities.
• Delivering a warm, professional welcome to VIP guests, business visitors and employees.
• Maintaining high standards across uniform, reception, locker and changing room facilities.
• Managing locker allocations and key administration.Processing internal and external mail and preparing departmental documentation.
• Communicating effectively with teams across the resort via telephone, radio and face-to-face interaction.
• Supporting daily operational requirements, including laundry management for uniforms and workwear.
• Working closely with Marketing, HR and Guest Excellence teams to support employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Due to nature of the role and working hours, applicants must be 18 years old or over.
