Asda Stores Ltd in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague on a permanent part-time basis. The role requires weekend work, accurate prescription processing, and helping customers with health services. Training will advance from Medicine Counter Assistant to Dispensing Assistant within 6 months.

You’ll join a busy in-store pharmacy supporting patients, conducting blood pressure checks and offering Medicines Use Reviews, with a focus on friendly, reliable customer care.

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, organised and able to communicate well with customers.
• Enjoy problem solving and helping customers with health queries.
• Be prepared to complete an accredited pharmacy training path within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Support Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Promote pharmacy services (Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Collect prescriptions from the doctor's surgery for patients.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure service quality.
