Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for the Carnforth Superstore. You will be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering groceries to customers’ homes with a friendly, practical approach.

Shifts are varied and flexible, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and pay starting at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. You’ll need a valid UK/EU driving licence with up to 3 penalty points, and you’ll enjoy a range of Tesco benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised for safe delivery of orders.
• Load the van safely and perform vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers in a friendly way and process refunds when needed.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot and provide warm, helpful service at the doorstep.
