Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes, delivering a friendly, reliable service. The role is hands-on, physically demanding, with varied shifts and independence, supported by a network of store teams.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours weekly, with some roles from 12 hours. Benefits include holiday days, store discounts and pension support.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver great service with a smile.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Load the van safely and complete checks for roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions clearly and handle refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with friendly doorstep service.
