Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes with a smile. This hands-on, physical role is varied, with independence most of the day and support from managers at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with roles from 12 hours also available. Flexible working and a range of benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role with emphasis on service.
• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence with ≤3 penalty points.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organised for safe delivery.
• Load van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions politely and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with friendly service at the doorstep.
