Morrisons Market Street in Chesterfield is looking for a skilled butcher to join our fresh counter team. You will cut, bone and prepare meats to high standards, helping in-store and online shoppers choose the right cuts.

You’ll work safely with knives and butchery equipment, maintain displays, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced environment, contributing to quality, value, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience cutting, boning and preparing meat to a high standard.
• Able to work safely with knives and other butchery tools.
• Confident, friendly and able to help customers with product queries.
• Willingness to support store colleagues across counters.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first with outstanding service and prepare custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.
• Prepare quality cuts by cutting, boning, slicing, dicing and wrapping meat to company specs.
• Maintain vibrant displays and keep counters well-stocked and attractive throughout trading hours.
• Work safely with knives, saws, and mincing machines while upholding health and hygiene standards.
