Job summary

Morrisons Market Street Nottingham is seeking an experienced butcher to join our fresh counters. You’ll cut, bone and prepare primals to our high standards, deliver excellent customer service, and help ensure attractive, well-stocked displays both in-store and online.

We value practical knife skills, teamwork and a flexible approach. This role is hands-on, fast-paced and safety-conscious, with opportunities for development within our Leadership School and wider Morrisons career pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in cutting, boning, and preparing different meats to a high standard.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use butcher equipment safely.
• Friendly, approachable mindset and initiative to assist customers.
• Flexible team player across Market Street fresh counters.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service, preparing custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.
• Cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season and wrap primals to company specs.
• Maintain vibrant meat counters and displays, stocked and tidy all day.
• Work safely with knives, saws and mincing machines, upholding hygiene standards.
