Job summary

Morrisons in Chester is looking for a skilled butcher to join our fresh counters. You will cut, bone and prepare primals to company standards and help customers choose the right cuts for their meals.

You’ll work with knives, saws and mincers, maintain display freshness, and deliver friendly service at the counter and online orders. Training and progression opportunities are available through our leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in cutting, boning, and preparing different meats to a high standard.
• Able to deliver friendly, helpful service at the counter and to online shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first with outstanding service and prepare custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.
• Prepare quality cuts by cutting, boning, dicing, mincing and wrapping meat to company specs.
• Maintain vibrant displays, keeping counters and pre-packaged displays well stocked and attractive.
• Uphold health, safety and hygiene standards while using knives, saws and mincing equipment.
