Morrisons in Glasgow’s Market Street is seeking a butcher to join our fresh counters. You will cut, bone, and present meat to exact specifications, while delivering top-notch service to in-store and online customers.

Ideal candidates have strong knife skills, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and uphold health and safety standards. Training and progression opportunities are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experienced in cutting, boning, and preparing different meats to a high standard.
• Able to deliver friendly service and handle customer queries with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first by delivering outstanding service and preparing custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.
• Prepare quality cuts: cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season, and wrap primals to company specs.
• Maintain displays: keep counters and pre-packaged displays well-stocked and attractive.
• Work safely with knives, saws, and mincing machines, upholding health and hygiene standards.
