Job summary

Manpower in Ashford, Kent is seeking a French-speaking Customer Service Advisor for a permanent role. You will build strong relationships with assigned customers, handle inquiries, and work with the Customer Care Team to deliver superior service.

The role is Monday to Friday with standard hours, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and company benefits. Fluency in French and export/intl trade knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent French is required for the client assignment.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-focused role.
• Knowledge of exports / international trade (incoterms, shipping).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships and support assigned customers.
• Manage inquiries and changes with internal and external customers.
• Prepare debit/credit notes and process complaints/returns.
• Update customer records, contracts, packaging and stock info.
• Participate in continuous improvement and projects with Customer Care.
• Collaborate with Planning on demand planning and stock positions.
• Proactively seek and act on customer feedback.
