Job summary

Language Business in Sunderland is seeking a French-speaking Customer Service Executive to own a portfolio of business accounts and act as the main contact for French-speaking customers. You will ensure a smooth order-to-delivery process and build lasting relationships in a fast-paced international environment.

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a hybrid working model (4 days in the office) and a salary of £28,000–£30,000 basic, with a discretionary bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French is essential.
• Previous experience in B2B customer service or order management (preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Confidence managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills – SAP experience is a big plus.
• A full UK valid visa – must already have the right to live and work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for business customers
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts
• Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle - from placement to fulfilment
• Organise and track orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
• Coordinate stock allocation, logistics, and distribution centre requirements
• Provide regular updates to customers, resolving issues proactively
• Process order changes, cancellations, credits, debits, returns, and value-added services
