Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a dynamic Freight Account Manager to join our International Road Logistics team in the UK. You will generate new business, manage accounts from telesales through delivery, and drive profit growth by delivering tailored service to clients.

You will work with a proactive sales approach, build strong relationships, and provide accurate quotations while meeting KPI targets and contributing to a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in proactive telesales or cold calling sales role is required.
• Logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience generating own sales leads is advantageous.
• Experience working to targets and KPIs is essential.
• GCSE Maths and English grade C or above.
• Strong administration and organisation skills are sought.
• Full Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new prospect leads and accounts over the phone and in person.
• Telesales, face-to-face selling (B2B), negotiations and presentations.
• Grow gross profit and achieve targets as set out by the Branch Manager.
• Achieve sales productivity and revenue targets.
• Provide high level internal and external customer care.
• Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity.
