Reactive Recruitment is recruiting a Freight Planner for a leading European freight forwarding company based in Bedford. The role involves executing orders across Air, Sea and Road with a focus on Australia, New Zealand and Japan, building strong client and partner relationships and ensuring accurate, timely processing of orders.

The ideal candidate has current or recent freight forwarding experience (minimum 1 year), excellent organisational and communication skills, and is PC literate.

Qualifications

• Current/recent Freight Forwarding experience ESSENTIAL (minimum 1 year).
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• PC literate in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent communicator at all levels and leads by example.
• Knowledge of transport/freight forwarding industry essential.

Responsabilités

• Execute orders by all modes of transport (Air, Sea and Road) focusing on Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
• Build excellent working relationships with clients and transport partners.
• Support departments to resolve queries and source rates as required.
• Work collaboratively across UK and EU locations to ensure accurate processing of orders.
