JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Freight Handler based out of our Moncton Terminal, New Brunswick. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and "Can Do" attitude.

Shifts available:

  • Day shifts, including weekends
  • Monday to Friday evening shifts
  • Sunday to Thursday overnight shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up the dock for efficient operations.
  • Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight, both manually and using equipment.
  • Communicating with other Dock Workers to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading.
  • Maintaining a clean, functional dock and work area.
  • Flexible to assist in other areas if required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately.
  • Efficient, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high productivity.
  • Basic math and organizational skills are required.
