Job summary

DivalentineCalver Recruitment LTD in Kent is seeking a Freight Forwarder – Exhibitions to join an office-based role. The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, and organised, with multi-modal freight forwarding experience and a willingness to travel up to two weeks overseas.

You will work with new and existing clients to drive sales growth, prepare quotes, input data in CRM, draft communications, coordinate international division work, and provide excellent customer service at exhibitions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Exhibition Logistics or Multi Modal freight forwarding.
• Good Commercial Awareness and client-facing skills.
• Excellent planning and organisation abilities.
• Experience with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Working with new and existing clients to achieve sales growth to agreed targets
• Assist in quotes for freight tenders, oversees enquiries and logistic proposals
• Input real time data using the company CRM system on leads, opportunities, and actions
• Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence & Follow up calls
• Development of global Agents, approved Vendors List.
• Coordination of international/European division work in relation to various exhibitions, events, private product launches
• On-site representation at exhibitions globally
• The provision of excellent customer service
• Accounts housekeeping including quotations and invoicing
• Budget management and cost control.
• Liaison with the Business Development Manager and Operations team

Exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity for a candidate who is outgoing, confident and organised that enjoys working in the Freight Forwarding and International Logistics industry, would be advantageous to have experience of handling Exhibition Logistics. Must be commercially aware and able to present well to customers in person, some overseas travel required for periods up to a maximum of 2 weeks. Office based 9-5 role in Kent.

Key responsibilities - Freight Forwarder- Exhibitions

Candidate Experience - Freight Forwarder - Exhibitions

• Multi-modal freight forwarding experience
• Minimum 3 years experience Exhibition Logistics or Multi Modal freight forwarding experience.
• Good Commercial Awareness
• Excellent planning and organisation skills
• Track record of working to set timescales
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Events and Exhibition experience advantageous
• Experience of using CRM systems
