Job summary

Detail 2 Limited is seeking an Exhibition Logistics & Sales Coordinator to join their Tonbridge team. The role combines freight operations, sales growth and client relationship management for international exhibitions and events.

Some travel will be required to represent the business at events and launches. The ideal candidate has at least three years' experience in exhibition logistics or multi-modal freight forwarding with a strong commercial mindset and excellent communication and

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in exhibition logistics or multi-modal freight forwarding.
• Experience in international freight forwarding and logistics.
• Proven sales experience, with ability to develop new business.
• Experience coordinating exhibition, event or product launch logistics.
• Strong understanding of international and European freight operations.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work to tight timescales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to generate sales.
• Support business development and growth of the international freight forwarding operation.
• Assist with tenders, quotations and logistics proposals.
• Manage sales enquiries and follow up promptly and professionally.
• Maintain CRM data with leads, opportunities and client interactions.
• Draft quotations and proposals and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Coordinate exhibitions, events and product launches with international agents and suppliers.
• Oversee on-site logistics representation at exhibitions and events.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Operations team to coordinate sales activity.
• Monitor project progress and mitigate risks to avoid disruptions.
