Job summary

Simply Jobsworth in Halesowen is seeking a confident Business Development Executive to join our growing freight and logistics team. You will generate new business, develop customer relationships and grow existing accounts, working closely with our operations team to ensure excellent service.

Freight experience isn’t required as full training is provided; we offer a friendly, family-run environment, a salary up to £29,000 depending on experience, and clear career progression in a hands-on role

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development is preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Make outbound calls and follow up new enquiries and quotations.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate with customers.
• Identify upselling and account growth opportunities.
• Promote our range of freight and logistics services.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records using our CRM.
