Job summary

CR1 Group Limited is seeking a Freelance Site Supervisor for a refurbishment project at a busy distribution centre. The role involves overseeing fire doors, fire alarms, and passive fire protection works, and supervising site teams to ensure the programme is delivered safely and on time.

Start is immediate for a 3-week initial contract, with potential for ongoing work. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, SMSTS qualification and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is required.
• SMSTS qualification is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Experience supervising refurbishment projects is required.
• Experience with fire door/alarm/passive fire protection works is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple fronts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site teams carrying out fire protection works.
• Ensure operatives remain productive and focused on programme delivery.
• Monitor the quality and progress of all works on site.
• Liaise daily with the Main Contractor's Project Manager.
• Provide regular progress updates to your Line Manager.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Assist in resolving site issues and maintaining programme deadlines.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
