Job summary

Checkmate Fire Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee fire protection works on commercial and residential projects. You will coordinate site teams, manage subcontractors, maintain safety records, and ensure work is delivered on time and within scope.

The role requires proven supervision experience in fire protection, SSSTS/SMSTS, FIRAS or equivalent, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within fire protection or construction.
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• FIRAS accreditation or similar.
• First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site-based fire protection works (e.g., fire stopping, passive fire protection, fire doors).
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and materials.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Due to securing several new projects, we are hiring for a Site Supervisor to join our operations team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise and coordinate site-based fire protection works (e.g., fire stopping, passive fire protection, fire doors)

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in a Site Supervisor role within fire protection or construction

• Full UK Driving Licence
