Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited are recruiting a Site Manager for passive fire projects in South East London, with travel to various sites. You will supervise contractors, uphold safety standards, and ensure works run to programme.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification mandatory.
• Social Housing FRA experience preferred.
• First Aid trained.
• CSCS Card required.
• Asbestos awareness knowledge.
• Able to gain Security Clearance.
• IOSH certification preferred.
• Fire Qualification preferred (BM Trada/FIRAS/NVQ Passive Fire).
• Fire Door knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage contractors on site.
• Ensure works are completed safely and on time.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and inspect properties pre/post works.
• Lead progress meetings and report on site progress.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the programme.

Job Title: Site Manager - Passive Fire
Location: South East London (Will involve travel)

We are pleased to be working with a leading specialist contractor in passive fire protection, delivering high-quality fire stopping, fire doors, and compartmentation works across a wide range of sectors including residential, healthcare, education, and commercial projects. With a strong reputation for safety, compliance, and excellence, they pride themselves on their commitment to protecting lives and property through superior workmanship.

As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors' undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the programme.

Site Manager Relevant Experience / Qualifications:

• SMSTS
• Social Housing FRA experience
• First Aid
• CSCS Card
• Asbestos Awareness
• Able to gain Security Clearance
• IOSH
• Relevant Fire Qualification preferred but not essential (BM Trada, FIRAS, NVQ Passive Fire)
