Job summary

CR1 Group Limited is seeking a Freelance Site Manager to lead a 7-week distribution centre refurbishment in Methley (LS26). The project includes internal infrastructure works, M&E upgrades, fire doors, painting and decorating, with hands-on leadership and delivery expectations.

You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams, monitor progress, ensure health & safety compliance, and deliver quality on time to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience in managing distribution centres, warehouses, or similar industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive the project to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across the 7-week programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress against milestones and report to the project team.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and company policies.
• Oversee quality control and resolve issues during construction.
