Job summary

CR1 Group Limited seeks a freelance Site Manager to lead a 7-week refurbishment and M&E upgrade at a distribution centre in Methley (LS26). The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver on time and to a high standard, with day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination.

You will manage progress, safety compliance, quality control, and on-site teams, working to tight shifts and reporting to the project team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Site Manager on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience managing distribution centres, warehouses or similar industrial facilities.
• CSCS Card (managers), SMSTS and 3-day First Aid certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations over the 7-week programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on-site teams for smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress and report to the project team.
• Ensure health & safety, regulatory compliance and quality control.
