Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for a long-term industrial new-build project in Northwich. The role spans 40 weeks with a day rate of 280–300, and requires delivering on-time construction per client specs.

You will report to the Project Manager, manage contractors, ensure HSE standards, and coordinate with design teams and client representatives. Industrial/new build experience and UK driving license are essential.

We're Hiring: Freelance Site Manager
Location: Northwich
Sectors: Industrial new build
Day-rate: 280 - 300 a day
Duration: Long term (40 weeks)

Fawkes & Reece are hiring for a Freelance Site Manager for an upcoming new build industrial unit in Northwich. This project is 40 weeks in length total valued at 6 million. Previous industrial new build experience is required for this project.

Job responsibilities of the Freelance Site Manager:

• Oversee construction of new build industrial unit
• Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Flexible with which projects you take.

Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:

• Experience working within industrial and new build
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
