Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to work at multiple locations across Great Britain. You will deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses for prestigious clients.

Roles include delivering half and full-day sessions, timely reporting, and diary-based scheduling. Benefits include flexible days, up to £210 per full day, weekend rates, fuel supplements, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Proactive approach to delivering engaging training with emphasis on safe driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles.
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises.
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.
• Use provided laptop and course materials to deliver sessions.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
