Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver both on-site and classroom-based inductions and upgrades across Great Britain. You will coach in category B vehicles (primarily vans), delivering half- and full-day sessions and completing assessments for prestigious clients.

Eligibile candidates may be accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV National Instructors Register, with a proactive, inclusive training approach.

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Proactive delivery of engaging and inclusive training with emphasis on positive driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV) with free upskill training available for right applicants.
• Professional delivery of PowerPoint presentations for safety training.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Laptop and printer provided; course materials supplied by PDT.

• Half-day courses: 4 hours duration.
• Ensure timely completion of accurate assessment reports.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
