Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver on-site courses across Great Britain. You will conduct both half‑day and full‑day driver training at client premises and prepare detailed assessment reports, with training materials provided by PDT.

Flexible diary controls and weekend options may be available, with support for CPD and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Proactive approach to delivering engaging training and promoting safe driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV).
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises (category B vehicles).
• Complete accurate assessment reports in a timely manner.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Duties

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
