Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver on-site and mobile training across Great Britain. You will conduct a mix of classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses for van drivers, primarily on client premises.

The role offers exposure to prestigious clients, with ongoing CPD and weekend options at enhanced rates. You will manage your diary and choose days to work while earning per-session pay.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR.
• Proactive, engaging training with safe driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles.
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Own laptop and printer; course materials supplied.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises.
• Half-day courses are 4 hours.
• Timely completion of accurate assessment reports.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits

• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
