Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to cover multiple locations across Great Britain. The role involves delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at client sites nationwide.

Successful candidates will join the UK's fastest growing provider of fleet driver training, with flexible days, competitive per-course pay, and opportunities for weekend work at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR registered.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience delivering training in electric vehicles.
• Proactive, inclusive training delivery with safe driving focus.
• Ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations.
• Willingness to travel to client premises.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises.
• Complete accurate assessment reports promptly.
• Deliver training for category B vehicles (vans).
• Promote positive driver behaviours.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
