Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is actively recruiting freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to cover locations across Great Britain. You will deliver a mix of classroom and on‑road induction or upgrade courses, primarily for category B vehicles.

Successful candidates join the UK's fastest growing fleet training provider, with flexible diary management and competitive day rates. Weekend work and travel supplements may apply.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer accreditation or LGV NIR registration.
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive training with clear reporting.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles is a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with PPT.
• Own laptop and printer provided for course materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half and full‑day coaching and assessment sessions at client premises.
• Complete assessments and report findings in a timely manner.
• Facilitate driver induction or upgrade courses for category B vehicles.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
