Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver a mix of classroom and on-road driver training across Great Britain.

Successful candidates will join the UK's fastest growing provider of fleet driver training, with opportunities for weekend work at enhanced rates and fuel supplements based on travel distance.

Qualifications

• Accredited ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR registration is preferred.
• Strong communication and report writing skills are essential.
• Experience delivering EV driving courses is desirable.
• Professional delivery of safe driving presentations using PowerPoint.
• Must be comfortable working across Great Britain; travel required.
• Laptop and printer available for course materials (supplied by PDT).

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions at client sites.
• Prepare and submit accurate assessment reports promptly.
• Travel to various client premises and manage training diary.
• Promote engaging, inclusive training and safe driving behaviours.
• Present materials and maintain clear participant records.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).

Benefits

• Flexibility to choose which days you work (you will manage your diary).
• We offer £105 for half day courses and up to £210 for full day Monday-Friday.
• Weekend work is occasionally available at enhanced rates.
