Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to work at multiple locations across Great Britain. You will deliver a mix of classroom and on-road induction or upgrade courses, primarily in vans, with flexible diary management and opportunities for weekend work at enhanced rates.

Accreditation as an ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR is desirable, plus experience with EV training and strong presentation/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV NIR.
• Promotes positive driver behaviours and inclusive training delivery.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles; EV upskilling available for right applicants.
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises (category B vehicles, vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours.
• Ensure timely completion of accurate assessment reports.

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
