Job summary

FFW Site Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Assistant Site Manager for a 12‑month assignment on a residential development in West Yorkshire. You will support the Site Manager in daily on-site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role involves assisting with inspections, plot handovers, and maintaining strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Site Manager experience
• Strong new build residential experience
• Good knowledge of the full build process
• CSCS is required and SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitor progress against the programme and quality standards
• Carry out quality checks and manage snagging
• Support with inspections and plot handovers
• Liaise with customers throughout build and handover
• Address customer queries promptly and professionally
• Monitor materials and site requirements
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team
