Barclays in Northampton is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a visually impaired colleague within the fraud team. The role is hybrid, based in Northampton one day per week, with shifts from 8am to 5pm and some weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service through various channels including chat, email and phone.
• Assist with complex customer needs to resolve inquiries with care and professionalism.
• Collaborate with bank teams to align and integrate customer care processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and coach colleagues on highlighted areas.
• Develop and implement customer care procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
• Resolve inquiries related to bank products and services, including balances, transactions and payments.
• Develop and present reports on customer care performance to senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends to implement best practices for efficiency.
• Execute activities in a timely, high-standard manner and may lead a team or supervise colleagues.
• Take ownership of risk and strengthen controls within own work area.
