Job summary

1st Central in the UK is seeking a Claims Fraud Administration Handler to join our Counter Fraud Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Haywards Heath or Salford Quays.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. During the first 3 months you will work from the office full-time, then move to hybrid with four days at home and one day in the office.

You will support fraud investigators, manage referrals, litigation, supplier invoices, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role.
• Previous experience in the motor insurance industry.
• Experience of working in a fraud environment.

Responsibilities

• Allocate new claim referrals to Fraud teams.
• Manage incoming litigation for investigators.
• Outsource new referrals to supplier partners.
• Update internal MI records for fraud investigations.
• Chase suppliers and manage debt sheets.
• Identify urgent tasks to team leaders.
• Request CRU certificates and notify DWP on settlement.
• Support fraud investigations and CF team leaders.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements (TCF, DPA, AML).
• Ensure health and safety and company standards compliance.
