Technical Futures Ltd. is seeking a mid-to-senior FPGA Design Engineer to design and implement FPGA-based SoC systems for cutting-edge imaging and AR products. Hybrid work up to 3 days from home, with collaboration across hardware, software and mechanical disciplines.

The role requires a degree in Electronic Engineering or related field, strong VHDL/Verilog skills, SoC experience, Python knowledge, and RTL verification expertise. Eligible to work in the UK is essential.

  • Design and implement FPGA based SoC systems.
  • Perform RTL verification and timing closure activities.
  • Contribute to low-power design considerations during development.

In this role the successful FPGA Design Engineer will work closely with hardware, software and mechanical engineers to bring exciting new products to market.


The FPGA Design Engineer should ideally bring:


  • Bachelors / Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

  • Solid FPGA, VHDL / Verilog skills.

  • SoC design and Integration experience.

  • Python skills.

  • RTL Verification experience.

  • Experience writing timing constraints and ensuring these are met.

  • Designing for low power.
